TRANSITION NETWORK CONFERENCE 2015
SEPTEMBER 18th – 20th
SEALE-HAYNE, NEWTON ABBOT, DEVON
The Transition Conference is back! After a 2 year gap since their last event at Battersea Arts Centre, the 2015 gathering will bring together delegates from across the worldwide Transition Movement, bridging National Hubs with local Initiatives and celebrating the wonderful achievements and work that have been occurring since we began this journey back in 2006. They’re delighted to be returning to the home of their 2010 Conference, the beautiful Seale-Hayne in Devon.
They’re currently designing Fringe events, Trainings, Tours and other fun and fabulous things for what will be a really remarkable few days in Devon:
Main Transition International Conference: Friday 18th September (6pm) to Sunday 20th September (5pm)
Transition Skills Day: Friday 18th September
National Hubs Gathering: Friday 18th September to Tuesday 22nd September
Youth in Transition Gathering: Thursday 17th September to Friday 18th September
Transition Totnes Tour: Monday 21st September
This year’s conference will be a celebration of the truly international thing that Transition has become, following on as it does from the International Permaculture Convergence being held in Essex, UK and interweaving with the annual National Hubs Gathering as well. The Conference is going to be an inspiring melting pot of ideas, activities and creativity and they want you to be involved! There will be all the usual talks, workshops and participatory activities, from morning yoga to interactive discussions and even a live global webcast event sewn into the fabric.
Please visit the website for more details of the event including pricing and accommodation options: https://conference15.transitionnetwork.org
