We are pleased to announce that our garden book sale raised £42.50 in cash together with various donations of garden tools. Thank you to all who contributed to the cause!

We would also like to say thank you to Tibbs the greengrocers who donated the prize for our raffle, which was won by Gillian Campbell; to Flo who contributed the fine gazebo you can see in the pictures of the event; to Tom whose idea it was and for helping to organise the event; and to Fran and Liz for all their work on the day.

June 2012 Photos of tree-damage to the Walled Garden

A tree was blown over into the garden during the recent storms in June 2012, causing structural damage to a section of the surrounding wall and to some of the work done within. Nobody was in the area at the time. After restricting access to the site, Teignbridge Council checked the area, moved the fallen tree, and confirmed that we could continue to garden on Sunday 17th June.

More details to follow.

Photos show some of the damage, and people working in the garden while enjoying the good weather on Sunday morning.
